First bike - Honda Shadow 600?

Hmm, I will say surprised indeed. I was going off the fact that a Ninja 250 has a pretty significant power advantage over the Rebel considering same displacement, and that little engine is screaming pretty high at highway speeds. I don't think I would want to put 100 miles on my Rebel at a time. I guess most people don't need to but I visit family about 2-2.5 hours away often enough that I'm glad my bike will cruise at like 5-5.5k at 70-75 mph.
