Wanting to do my own Tune-up!

My husband wants to do the tuneup himself on his 1983 yahama venture 1200CC and also on my 2003 Honda rebel 250 CC.

What is he going to need parts wise and tool wise?

what kinds of thing do you do when you do the tuneup?

The first thing to do is get manuals for each bike. All is explained inside the manual.

yes, the manuals know all. Though basic stuff should be in the owners book.

The Honda factory shop manual is hands down the best in the industry. The Yamaha one is OK...better than Kawi but not as good as the reference standard Honda's.
