Carb cleaner, WD40 and a stage 2 jet kit! :twisted:
Other than that definitely use carb cleaner and blow it through every passage in there...
Then compressed air is what Suzuki recommends in it's training and manuals... They say to clean it thoroughly and blow compressed air through every passage once, if it doesn't work try it again, then get a new carb.

Yeah I have carb cleaner, but have no idea how I'm going to clean the pilot jets since they're stuck in the carburetors and I don't want to just pour carb cleaner in there as it might damage the plastic parts.

I would just replace the pilot jets but I have no idea how to get them out; they seem to want to break before loosening!

Okay, I managed to get most of my issues resolved... I'm going to have to wait on a few o-rings to come in before I reassemble the carbs, since some of them were too worn to re-use.

I was thinking about installing one of the jet kits available while I have these things disassembled. Any recommendations? I don't really want to sink money into a new exhaust or intake right now (it already has a K&N filter), so I don't know whether I'd see any benefit. I have heard that the stock jetting on these things is a little rough and that a re-jet alone can improve the running characteristics noticeably.
