Honda 5.5 Engine

#1 Unread post by ladyshoffner »

I converted a Honda 5.5 Engine to a small 4 wheeler and now it will not pull it can someone help me with this. If you lift the bike up the wheels will turn but with any weight engine rev's and bike goes no where.
thanks Bob

Sounds like it's geared way too high.

Whatever system you're using for final drive, the sprocket/pulley on the engine should be smaller diameter, or the sprocket/pulley on the axle should be larger diameter, or both.

That's the best I can come up with given the limited info supplied.

Good Luck.
