Bikeless: Suggestions for 29" inseam. ((Revised))

What was I thinking.
You're all good sports answering.

I got my answer about fuel injection vs carb.

Dream Bike. BMW F800ST with factory lowered seat, perfect for 29" inseam.

Is there anything else out there, other than cruisers?

Heck Ill take a stab at it.

Find a seat with a 30-31 inch seat hieght (see my tagline) and dont wear flats. (you need mid leg boots and they normally have heels)

Carb VS FI.

FI is the way to go, they work way better than carbs.

The down fall. If you get doo-doo in your FI body, you are stuck.

Carbs you can clean johnny on the spot.

Ive had carbs for over 40 years. In the spring, Im switching.
Better fuel mileage, and quicker response time, soccer mom is getting faster at lane changes, and so must I.

Yes you can get a sport bike and have it lowered and have the seat shaved if needed.

Honestly - you have tons of options! Go out and sit on every bike you like and see how they feel. Any bike can be lowered (although on sport bikes it will affect the geometry and may affect handling), any seat can be shaved and...

You don't necessarily have to be able to flatfoot the bike. I have buddy... short little guy (I'm thinking he's about 5'3 and his inseam can't be more than 27")... He rides a Daytona 675 and a Speed Triple (both have 32.5" seat heights). Neither have been lowered, he just leans the bike over at stops until he can get one of his feet on the ground. Or stops next to curbs.
