Vince/Hanes Exhaust
K/N Filter (This did a huge difference, went from 45 to 55MPG HWy)
37 teeth rear sprocket

The 37 tooth sprocket did not make a difference in MPG at all, but it made it much better driving in both city/HWy. You actually end up with a better performing bike. Sprocket Specialists baby!

Average: 55-60
Best ever was 64 - I think it depends on how much gas you can get into the tank as it is a small tank and you can get air out of the tank but it takes a while!!

some additional info: These bikes were only brought into the US for 3 years. 88 had a 520 chain set up and 89-90 have 428/128 chains. Common gearing is around 17/51. 88 has bare alum swingarm, two bolt front sprocket, and usual colors of white and blue. 88 & 89 have an "inboard disk" front brake set up!! 89 has usual colors white with teal green/pink. 90 Has all white with some red/blue zigzag graphics and outboard front disk brake setup. 89 & 90 have painted swingarms and single bolt front sprockets.

Quite a unique bike!!

When stock with K&N, 45 - 50MPG. With Supertrapp slip-on exhaust, 50 - 55 MPG. Since Aug. 2009, now mostly averages around 53 MPG city/hwy.
