2001 Intruder VS800GL-No Power

Started cold with no problems then died. Went to restart and starter jumped. No power, no lights, no blown fuses, strong battery with full charge. What next?

Key turned on? meaning its all the way up instead of in off or accessory position.

Yes, but after an hour hiatus of no fooling with it. Went back out, started fine. Thanks

in that case make sure you have no corroded/shorted/broken wires.

Same bike, same problem back in '00. Bad connection at the battery, that gremlin got me several times.
