Man, sorry to hear about your bike. I hope they catch em. And you get a better bike than the one you had.

While indeed they are scum, I would say the worst sort of scum are the child killers and molesters out there. Then bike theives.

I think a lot of them get parted out and wind up all over e-bay, certain stores etc etc etc. Can't trust anyone these days.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

I am truly sorry to hear that Psycluded . That is a horrible violation to experience . I know that the first moments of denial is like being in a really bad dream .
Have had our home burglarized as well as a company truck stolen . Both of those events happened some years ago but ya never forget just what that felt like .
With deepest sympathies , Wizzard

Hm. Found a guy in FL who is selling an '04 YZFR6, Silver, for $3000...

It's -very- likely stolen. The guy actually answered the email I sent him, so we'll see if he gives me the VIN # like I asked him to. If if comes back clean, I'm back in the saddle this weekend. I can get twice that for an 04 from the bank, and without any fuss over the loan from Honda being paid off. Means if there -is- anything wrong with it (the guy swears up and down there isn't), I can fix it without any undue hardship, plus do a little custom work on it, all for less than the what the purchase price -should- be.

Might be going to Florida this weekend to see a man about a bike... No way I'd buy that thing without seeing, starting and riding it, and then I'm just going to load it onto a U-Haul and cart it home. :)

Yeah, that really sucks about your bike.... but on the brighter side... the new raven R1 and R6 are insanely hot. :D

My heart goes out to you Psycluded, you must be well gutted mate, I would certainly be in mourning if it was our bike. What thieves dont seem to understand is that they are taking a whole lifestyle away from you. And if I knew any bike thieves I would have no hesitation in turning them in, as been said before scumbags are people who nick bikes. :x

Aye, the R6 I was looking at in FL seems to be stolen, so I reported that to the police there. Hopefully they'll nail him.

I'm actually looking at an 05 Raven R6 at the moment. We'll see.
