Bike will not start again...

I just bought a 1995 Suzuki Intruder VS800GL from a private seller with 4000 miles.

It fired up right away when I bought it from him and the next day as well when it was 35 degrees all day while sitting in my unheated garage. 3rd day of owning, it started up with choke but died within a few seconds. It will not fire back up, it'll turn just a bit sometimes but then it's just clicking (starter?) All lights are on, etc. WTF? Very frustrating after just buying her 3 days prior. Lights on and starter clicking makes me think battery and battery wires are not the problem as observed as possibilities from other posts.

Could it be the plugs, and if so, how do you test the plugs?

The starter solenoid clicking indicated there isn't enough current supplied by the battery to the starter. That means the battery is bad or you have a bad connection.
