Exhaust tubing for garage

#1 Unread post by LS1GOAT »

Can anyone recommend what to use or where to look for exhaust tubing to cover my bikes' exhaust while I'm working on it in my garage?

I found some things that could work for you by searching Google for exhaust tubing.

I was looking more for a suggestion about what kind people use and if you can get it at any major chains (Home Depot, Sears, etc).

Get PVC pipe in the proper diameter to fit over your exhaust pipe and run it out the door. Get a couple 45º fittings and a can of PVC glue and custom make them so they drop to the floor and run under the garage door. You could even install dryer vents in the wall and get some flex pipe in the proper diameter.

Some of the bendable auto exhaust tubing works best if you can still find it. (the type made out of several pieces snapped together not the newer type made like the bendable part of a straw)

PVC will melt. I wouldn't recommend it.
