Hello to all from Cambridge, Ontario

guess you could say i'm a newbie to the bike world, after nearly 30 years since i rode a bike. but last year had a honda 600 shadow that got me going again, so i'm looking for a something a little larger for this season 750-800 range. since i use it to commute about an hour ride to work on highway. and found the 600 just a little shy for top end, and only a 4 speed trans. seemed to be always wanting to shift into that extra gear.
i placed a question in forum about how to pick up your bike if you drop it. and got a couple of really good replies with links to video on how to do it.
just wanted to drop in and say Hi and what a great site this is for getting any information or asking a question.
and to those of us who live in ontario and the upper states, ya were going thru the big chill rite now. but it wont be that long before were back on the road again.
so have a safe and happy ride this year.
AND PLEASE DONT DRINK AND RIDE

Welcome...from the west coast. Although our roads have cleared up, it's currently very foggy these days, so still no riding.

Enjoy the forums! :)
