So Basically i am fairly new to the whole sport and i dont really know any awesome roads to ride at all. Riding in the city is awesome and i have a blast, and its because of all the fun i have riding my bike that i want to find some new, alternative roads to get to new places and sometimes even the same places i usually visit.

I found a website that has routes for pretty much all over North America and that has helped me a bit so i thought i would post it up here.

you could also add to the thread by talking about your favourite routes in your area to help newer riders like myself.

Cheers.

There's only one route in their database near me and it has a small problem--it might be good if you're a bird, but it doesn't follow roads. And crosses a wide river where there is no bridge.

I have listed a few of my local favorites in Southcentral Pennsylvania here:

Weapon,

If you live in the city and never get out try heading west on Hwy22 to Hwy 66 past elbow falls to the end of hte road at Kananaskis country. When you return take Hwy 762 south until the road ends and then head east in to Millerville. Take #22 back to the city. Try it in the spring and I'll show you somemore. Post it on one of the best roads sites and I'll have to kill you
