Recently I've bought a 2000 SV650S, and it came with sport "Art" muffler, which sounds a little too offensive
(it was shortened and maybe "raped" in other ways, and is in trash condition anyway). I want to go back stock. The previous owner gave me the stock muffler, but I have no idea, how to connect it to the pipe...
My friend has identical bike, and his has stock exhaust, connected through some piece of pipe (don't know how it is called in english
), and it seems that his bike had some kind of slip-on earlier, and then converted to stock. Is it possible to buy such a part, or should I search for some workshop, which would machine it for me, or TIG weld the can?
