I'm just a little bigger than you at 320 and 6'2". My sister just picked up an 09 Ninja 250 and I can comfortably ride it, but apparently I make the poor thing look like a pocket bike! haha
I'd suggest more like a Ninja 500 though

Is this the same sister who wanted nothing less than a Honda CBR? How did she come to change her mind?

Lol yes it is, I got her to listen to me after a salesman helped me out convincing her on the weight, insurance, and power issues!
Got her a Ninjette and that thing CORNERS like no other! Plus it can ride 2-up with my 300+ lbs on it and her 140/150 lbs on the back. So you know it's capable of hauling the OP around. You'll just be a bit relatively cramped!
