Post-winterization troulbe

#1 Unread post by slymoosehead »

Hey guys. I'm very new to motorcycle. I winterized my bike about 4-5 months. Just got it out today and it wont start. When I turned the key, the oil and neutral came out but not headlight. Pressed start button but wont start. seems like out of gas but tank full. Sometimes headlight would come on in mid of start attempt. I even tried to turn throttle while hold the start button but engine didn't react at all . Do i just have a bettery problem? Mayb I winterized my bike wrong. Please help

thanks

Your battery is weak. Charge it up and try to start it. You may find other problems after that is done, but first you need a fully charged battery.

Good Luck.

Hey guys, thanks for replying. I decided to just get a brand new battery. I tried it again earlier today and it was still giving me same problem. During one of my attempts, I heard a loud popping sound and thats when I decided to stop for the day. Any suggestion on the problem may be? Thanks
