Custom motorcycles anyone? Hi from Daytona!

#1 Unread post by MotoEdge »

Hey everyone!

My name is Mark and I still ride the first bike I've ever owned an '01 R6!

:motorcycle: I've bought quite a few bikes but I guess you never fall out of love with your first one eh?

Thankfully I've never had an accident but have lost many friends to riding over the years so I know it's very important to be careful no matter how tempting an open road is...

I took the MSF course to get my license in the very beginning (even though I've road a few of my buddies bikes before that) and totally recommend it to anyone considering it. To be honest it didn't prepare me for what a sportbike can do and I actually almost sold my bike and had my tail between my legs in the early days but sucked it up and am the rider you see today...confident but not arrogant :ohyea: but you all can put me in my place if I step out of line...

That's why I joined this community. I've heard great things about you all and I look forward to learning more about as many people as possible!

Take care and talk soon :imnewhere:

:tmwsign: Thanks so much!

I'll be following your blog...so much stuff :wearenotworthy:

There sure are plenty of Canadian riders on here, hehe. I want to ride there one day so I'll live vicariously through your words for now...

Thanks again. The TMW group is great and lots to explore :woohoo:

I wonder if it's because it's a Canadian owned site??? LOL Although the owner is currently living off shore, and who the heck knows where the servers are located now???

Enjoy the site...
