My name is Mark and I still ride the first bike I've ever owned an '01 R6!
I've bought quite a few bikes but I guess you never fall out of love with your first one eh? 
Thankfully I've never had an accident but have lost many friends to riding over the years so I know it's very important to be careful no matter how tempting an open road is...
I took the MSF course to get my license in the very beginning (even though I've road a few of my buddies bikes before that) and totally recommend it to anyone considering it. To be honest it didn't prepare me for what a sportbike can do and I actually almost sold my bike and had my tail between my legs in the early days but sucked it up and am the rider you see today...confident but not arrogant
but you all can put me in my place if I step out of line...That's why I joined this community. I've heard great things about you all and I look forward to learning more about as many people as possible!
