Welcome! There's nothing wrong with going down in displacement. You learn a great deal more on a smaller displacement bike anyway. Just like they've been saying. Not many people can take advantage of a litre bikes power anyway. If you can you should keep both. :D

The 600 will handle better and still have plenty of power for the streets. If you do find yourself getting bored, hit the track.
