From 1000cc's back to 600cc's?

Hi this is my first tread, just have on question; i've always rode 600cc sportbikes and last year I went to a yamaha r1 (1000) well I dont really like it so I want to go back to a yamaha r6 (600).Will I regret goin back down on displacement? I wont buy another 1000 because I dont like any of the new models.

Welcome! There's nothing wrong with going down in displacement. You learn a great deal more on a smaller displacement bike anyway. Just like they've been saying. Not many people can take advantage of a litre bikes power anyway. If you can you should keep both.

The 600 will handle better and still have plenty of power for the streets. If you do find yourself getting bored, hit the track.

Doing that many trackdays a year I can see why you prefer the 600.
