Thanks everyone!!
By the time August is here you will be an expert.
At riding, or at posting pics?

I'm not overly concerned about the footing, but it really bothers John. I will have him read the posts, and consult with a short friend who rides dirt bikes, but we may lower the forks anyway. For a while. The bike is not as valuable to me as his peace of mind. Don't get me wrong--I luuuv the bike!!

Happy New Bike Day!!!! That is sooo awesome. The Versys was bike of the year for one of the magazines.

You picked a standard bike? Maybe there will be new fuel for standards! Oh well, two people don't make a trend.

You know, I really should have tried out a Versys myself. Sooo many bikes, so little time.

I had a good ride on the B-King today, I don't really have any substantial complaints.

John snapped this while I was futzing with the controls:

That smudgy shadow under the bike is my right foot touching down. That's what's making John nervous.

Tried to crop this photo, but this isn't my regular computer and the software wouldn't save any edits.
Very cool! I am so jealous. You have hard saddlebags! I haven't the slightest idea of how I'm going to attach saddlebags to the B-King. While those gigantic exhausts don't actually seem to get hot - I'm not sure if I'm willing to bet having saddlebags secured against them 24/7.

BTW - there is free software for the PC - Paint.NET. It is a more advanced version of Paint (supplied with windows) that is almost as capable as Paint Shop Pro. To Crop, you click on the select box tool, select the area and then go to image - crop to selection.

Then I'd create an account on photobucket, create an album and put the images there.
