vfr not starting

vfr not starting

hi,
ive just bought a vfr 400 NC24 but it just will not start off the button, it turns over fine but will not fire, the only way i can start it is by bump starting it. any ideas. thanks, azz

Have you checked the side stand safety switch?

I'd replace your battery... It sounds to me like you don't have enough spark without the engine actually already turning under it's own power.
