Saying Hello !!

#1 Unread post by ZX10R Kawasaki Girl »

I have been riding with my husband for awhile but recently my husband had a wreck, a farmer pulled three quarters in his lane turning into a drive and when my husband went into the other lane to get around the farmer put it into reverse, so he switched back into his lane and had the back brake lock up and went down, slid the length of a barn and come to a stop with a culvert, broke bothe legs, crushed heel, and shattered pelvis, with internal bleeding..... without me on it. And yes he made it, and wanting to ride by summer, this happened 9-2008.. But I was just wanting to get to know some riders, and see were you can get some parts for little money... :D

Thanks I have found several parts there but didn't know if there were any other good places out there...We had a friend that rode the bike two months before this wreck and he did 6100.00 worth of damage so I had bought some parts already from ebay...... Needless to say the so called friend quit coming around and only bought 200.00 worth of parts..... :(

First......:welcome2: to TMW.

You could post in the "wanted" section on the site to see if anyone can help for parts.

Glad to hear your husband is going to be ok. Did the police throw the book at the farmer?

Kentucky being a Great Commonwealth state NO, he never made contact so it was wrote up as a one vehicle accident and it was my husbands fault. Even though it was clearly the farmers fault......But thanks for the info I will try that....

He is doing pretty good they are wanting to do a couple more surgery's, but he is not wanting to have the surgery's. He has been through alot of PT so he is up walking without anything....Thank You for asking, and hopefully we will be riding soon, we went out and started breaking the bike down to see what we will need...
