Impossible for me to answer. I have only ridden on 5 or 6 different bikes in my entire life. Great question though for some of the more experienced riders out there. I would pay money to test ride the V-Max for a day.
Hmmm, depends where I lived. Here in Asia? Mid-size dual-sport; F650GS, Wee Strom, Tenere, etc. If there was less traffic and/or more freeways like in NA or Europe, I'd go for a Tiger or a boxer GS
