I'm aware of the risks. But I can't blur it out on the road, so what's the freakin' difference? Let 'em have their fun.

I dont think its all that weird. Look at it this way, a bike/car/boat/ ect is a lot like a woman in the fact that you have a rathar close relationship with it. You take care of her, give her a little love and attention and it will always be there for you and not let you down. If you ignore it and neglect her, she will make you pay.
Perhaps thats why a lot of people refer to their vehicles as "her".

Actually I think it's just a hold over from naming boats female names. Which was thought to impart good luck. I mean women are more compassionate and stable... right??

Anyways I'd rather throw my leg over a girl then a guy.
Of course I'm generalizing from a single example here, but everyone does that. At least I do.

bikes to me are just like cars to my brother he named his cougar "Mahogony" and his friend named his Maralin (hes from maryland so he kind of incoorperated that) but its just that most vehicles have been refered to as a girl and i guess it sticks with it because I refer to my bass as a her such as "look at 'er aint she beautiful?" haha
Have a good time ALL the time

Once again, if I were a lesser person I'd be insulted. As it is, I'm sickened by your close mindedness.
