Trimmed the two apple trees in our back yard. The previous home owner hadn't touched them in over three years. Photos can be viewed on my Face Book.

yesterday my wife left on a business trip, my best friend came over and we did what two rational thirty year olds would do when the windchill is below zero. destroy a thirty pack of beer and play Gears of War 2 for ten hours straight. In retrospect, I think beating the game in one sitting was probably a bit much, but damn time flew by (the beer may have had something to do with that too  )

Put my new license plate on my new bike, so now it's all official-like.

I just have to hold out for one more day, then the temps go above freezing: 40F tomorrow, 50F Thursday, and Hot Dog!! 60 lovely, stupendous, gorgeous degrees on Friday! Woot!!!

yeah, the beer intake slowed us down a bit, plus we weren't exactly hurrying through it so much as trying to destroy everything in sight

I started a new daily schedule-getting my fat butt up at 5:30 a.m. to go to the gym. An hour of cardio, and doubled the weight sets plus added weight.

And then I got really hungry - every. two. hours I had to eat something. I was so hungry by 11:30 that I slammed my lunch down. And still managed a full workday.

Did I mention I'm doing this again? Tomorrow. And the next day. Getting up at 5:30. (I was getting up at 8:30 last week).

It hurts. so. much. I know this will get better. It has to.

Woke up this morning to -25 degrees celcius that is.
Snow drifts up to your crotch, and a car that protested to start. Dont have a block heater yet because some dumb a$$ Canadian Ford Dealer sold a car to a canadian without one. Its an option apparently. Well i have to say that here, its kind a like a steering wheel. You Need IT. No option.
