Anybody riden an 07-08 Z1000?

I've fallen in love with this bike for some reason, guess I just have a soft spot for naked bikes. Anyway, has anyone on here been on a 07+ Kawasaki Z1000? Anyone know how it compare to a 97 VFR? I know it makes about 20 hp & 20 lb/ft more than my VFR, but I'm curious about the power delivery on these things (I prefer both wheels on the ground)? If you've ridden one, can you include your height and/or inseam? I'm trying to figure out if the riding position is cramped, or at least, compared to my VFR. Lastly, is vibration a problem on these bikes, I read that there some but not compare to the previous generation?

I'd love to go to the dealer myself and sit on one, but no dealers, that I've called, within 200 miles of me (Chicagoland) seem to have one in stock . My closest dealer, however, did have the previous generation model Z750S (the half fairing kind of reminded me of the movie, Alien) that they let me sit on, but I don't know how similar it is to the redesigned 07+ Z1000's. The dealer can order me one, and although they didn't say it, I believe that I have to buy it first!

I'm looking to buy one of these as my next bike since my cousin decided to buy my VFR, after crashing it last weekend. Which is fine, since I was looking to get a newer bike with fuel injection anyway. I've joined the Z1000 forum to read in on the bike, but I'd like to get other not so (assuming) biased opinions .
