Turn Signal - Electrical problem :(

#1 Unread post by Paulos »

Morning all

Yesterday I was riding my 1991 750F pot in the lovely weather. Unfortunately I noticed that the indicators on the left hand side weren't flashing. They work fine on the right hand side. I've checked all the usuals i.e. Bulbs, dirty bulb holders loose connections ect at the indicators themselves. The weird thing is that the dashboard flashes like they are working but the actual indicators dont work.

Has anyone had this problem before or does anyone know what might be causing it? I just cant think why they are not illuminating

Its funny really, the bike is itself reliable but I always seem to be tatting/fixing something.

Do you have the manual for your bike? If you you do i'd tarce all wiring of concern to track the problem. This is how I found my problem a while back (pinched wire intermitently shorting out).
Many say live to ride, I say ride is to live.
