its too depressing!
I love bikes.I am 16 and i just love them.I have been riding on bikes in empty parking lots since i was 7.But Now i just want a bike.A moped or a bike.Any means of transformation.Because it seems that it is pretty essential for todays life.Going to school, going to work(i work summers)...anyway the problem is that here(in Cyprus) i dont know the age limit and i dont know where to call for that.i dont have friends that have or like bikes so i cant ask anyone and i really need one and i cant seem to find anything on the internet maybe some one can help me out here.If someone can find me a site an address anything!! that says somthing about the age restrictions or exeptions here in Cyprus i would greatly appreciate it!!!!thanx everyone

You need to check with the Department of Motor Vehicles for the state in which you reside. In most states, you can ride with your parents' permission, just like a car. Most states will require someone under the age of 18 to take an MSF course (in Ohio, the fee for the course is refunded to those under the age of 18 once they've passed the course). Mopeds are viewed differently than motorcycles in most states - the requirements are not so heavy for mopeds. But again, you'll need to call your DMV to find out the specific information. Good luck!

That's for renting a bike though, so I'm not sure what the law is for owning one.Otherwise, temporary Motor-Cycle Driving licences can be obtained from the District Police Stations at C?1,00 period of 6 months.
