New Bike
Well, I made the plunge and bought a black 2005 Vulcan 1500 and it really rocks. My question for you guys now is where do you buy your windshields, sissy bars and saddlebags. I still have my Shadow and may keep it, I don't know. I still like it fine but I'm not sure if I need two bikes. What do ya'll think?

I buy alot from http://www.cruisercustomizing.com/ they have some good products and great customer service and shipping time. Free shipping on orders over $99.
Congrats on the new bike. My neighbor has the same bike, black and red, and he loves it.

Hi Smokey
Keep your new one and sell the Shadow. Many years ago I had two bikes, couldn't part with my first 360, but finally caved in. Just couldn't ride two bikes at once. I sold it to some young kid in mint condition. Saw my old bike many months later leaking oil from every part of the engine, hand sanded black spray paint over tank and side covers....broke my heart to see such abuse.
Maybe you can sell to somebody you know so it won't be too far away to visit. It's hard to part with a machine you've become attached to.

I ran across the old Chev truck I fixed up when I was in high-school the other day, 500 miles from home, sitting beside the road for sale. It's been 14 years and it now looks a little worse for the wear, but it was cool to visit an old friend. Not bad for 35 years old......honda599 wrote:Hi Smokey

www.bing.com is a good one too. They also have free shipping on all orders over $100.
I know what you all mean about later seeings a vehicle you sold. I used to own an '85 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 SR5. I sold it to a guy and about I year later I saw him at a gas station and asked him how the 'Runner was doing. I shocked when he told me he parted it out to use on his off-road race truck and sent what was left to a junkyard (meaning that it got crushed).
