Again congratulations!
Thanks... B-King certainly won't be getting any off time miles. If I get the chance to commute on it - I'll take the opportunity.

Of course I'm getting renewed concerns for my health and riding from some people at work. Sheesh.

I'm very glad that people are concerned for me - but whether I live or die the future is going to happen, unless I misjudge my importance in the universe.

Yes, of course if I die my kids and wife will have a tougher time. But tougher lives often make stronger people.

And realistically, I can die so many different ways not involving the bike that would result in the same end product. I do what I can to manage the risk and make sure I'm not one of the fatalities on a motorcycle. That's the best you can do - and its what I do driving my car as well.

Thanks!!! It doesn't seem real since they aren't at home yet. Maybe in a week or two when they are home and I don't get any sleep anymore it'll feel right. :)

Rode to work today. I'd pretty had it with EZ Pass on the Henry Hudson bridge.

This time I tried mounting it to my windscreen. Again, it works everywhere (as far as I can tell) with the exception of the Henry Hudson Bridge.

So, I remount it on my RAM mount and I adjust its position. On the way home - it works! I also approached a little bit different - there was a lot of water on the lower level of the bridge traveling south, so I headed more toward the center of the lane.

It was a decent ride. No more liners in jacket or pants. Sometime I've got to take a few pics of my chicken strips and get opinions on just how much/little I am leaning in to turns.

Gotta replace my camera sometime.

590 miles down - hopefully thousands upon thousands to go.

CONGRATULATIONS!!
:bliss: :specialannouncement: :multistars: :welcome3:

We had our twin girls in Nov. '06, and one of 'em stayed in NICU for a week or so. Let me tell you this...even though we had two kids already, just like you, and thought we knew what to expect...we didn't. Twins are a LOT of work...

...but you can do it. (They're also a lot of fun!)

wow that's awesome. My youngest son is 1 month younger than your twins. Maybe there should be a group:

"Poor slobs that had twins after already having two children."

Going to see the twins tonight. One of them has graduated out of the NICU to a smaller room (still NICU, but not as closely watched, I think) and is able to maintain her body temperature, breathe on her own and is working on eating from a bottle.

She may be home soon. Cordelia is lagging behind a little bit, but she did have surgery.

Hehe, not really belated in a way. It still doesn't seem all that real since they are both in the hospital in NICU still.

Thanks!
