And no, I haven't named my toaster. But I'm pretty sure it doesn't like me.
Wrote a song about it, like to hear it? here it goes.....

My toaster has a first name.... it's T-O-A-S-T-E-R.....

Just doesn't have the same effect as the Oscar Meyer song does it?

Not really, no. :D But if it burns my bread one more time, the name I'm gonna call it won't be printable and won't fit the rythym of the song, either.

I've never been much into naming vehicles either, but I got inspired by a kid the other day.

I was sitting waiting for my 16 yr old son to get off work so I could bring him home, when this 4-5 yr old kid walks up and is about 6" from my helmet (I leaned over to accommodate him, and says "you helmet has dragons on it!". Then he backs up, looks at my blue BMW 650 & says "You have a dragon bike!!"

Got me to thinking, so I named it in the style of a Pernese Blue Dragon, Mith. The blue dragons do fit my personality. ;)
'07 BMW F650GS :) His name is Mith.

I dont name bikes and cars, its a practice that makes about as much sense as religion, come on, who truly believes a virgin gave birth and a dood died only to come back to life again :) geezuz what next ;)

But

If I had to name it I would call it "The Doodle Squasher" cause after a few hours with my meat and 2 veg slammed up against the tank bangin along our shiteful roads thats exactly what it does, squashes me doodle.

Can anyone enlighten me on this naming your ride phenomenon?
Uh, nope. Either it grabs you or it doesn't.

Named my motorcycle Gertrude. Then, depending on my cleaning tendencies, she would be either "Purty Gerty" or "Dirty Gerty".

After the upcoming re-build, I'll probably come up with a different name, though.
