I just got mine a month ago, although I have used others for years and love 'em. The bolt not locking open on an empty mag is not a big issue for me, but the extractor on mine does not like cleanly ejecting cheap ammunition. I may end up buying a good aftermarket extractor. With 25 round mags, a field of gophers in front of me, having to clear a spent cartridge every 3-4 shots is unacceptable, and the rate I blow through ammo means I like cheap ammunition.

On a more depressing note, the company I was expecting to visit this week has had to cancel. I am now officially depressed, bummed and pissed. Fruck!

Edited and uploaded the video of my ride to Cultus Lake yesterday. My first long ride since breaking my arm in December. Did about 300 Kilometres.

If anyone is interested, bored and has a strange masochistic tendency to watch long, boring video of others rides, just follow the Stinky Linky.

It's not the cheapest, but try to find CCI Standards http://www.cci-ammunition.com/ballistics/rimfire.aspx Very accurate.

Never seen CCI standards, but I really like their Stingers. Don't shoot them much to keep the gun tight, and they ain't cheap, but sometimes you just have to turn that gopher insideout @ 200 yards.

The problem is the extra ridge around the rim of the cheap cartridges won't allow the extractor to grip the spent casing well enough. And it's not like we are spoiled for choice with ammo these days. Your head honcho down there is messin' with my ammo supply...... I don't like it.
