Welcome Cansoldier
82 Honda 450 is a very reliable engine with counter balancers, that's why it's pretty smooth for a twin. Regular maintenance is all you need.
Enjoy and ride safe.

IIRC, the PERI trade was disbanded in the early 90's due to budget cuts, but it's possible I may have met him at one point in my career. As for CFB Boredom, I know that place well. Took my trades training there at the start of my career and spent my last 5 years teaching trades and fieldcraft to all ranks.dr_bar wrote:Gummiente...
One of my older brothers was stationed in Shilo and Winnipeg, as PERI staff, years ago. I think he's been stationed as PERI at; Shilo, Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Chilliwack, Esquimalt, Sage Hill, and so on... cripes, it's hard to keep track. He's now retired, but one of my younger bro's carries on in the airforce, a bloody Captain even.... He's currently in Borden teaching the next batch of aerospace engineers....
Sage Hill??!! You mean CFS Dana, Sask? My dad was posted there twice, last time from '78-'80. Graduated high school and joined the Army from there; I still have many friends from that area. Ah, memories...
