new to list, not to riding

Hi
just joined list.
I live in Windsor, ON (across from Detroit, MI)
I had a Virago 12 years ago before moving out of Toronto, but hadn't ridden since. Now have bought (importing from US) a 1986 Honda Shadow VT700.

Looking forward to getting back on the road :) although having some trouble finding specs and repair manuals for this year/model bike. I've been told they only made this style in 86 and 87 so that may be part of it. Might just go via Amazon to order repair manual used.

I did some searching around and apparently the manual you are looking for is put out by CLYMER, it covers a number of years and models.

Honda VT700 & 750 1983-87 Shop Manual
