WooHoo I picked up an '79 Kawasaki KZ 750 B with lots of spares today for $900.

Those pinkish bags are first to go. :frusty:

Nice catch, maybe the price was $900 because of the bags... Does she run? Looks well maintained from here...

It's a twin and no it wasn't that well maintained. Tires and most rubber items are dry rotted. It should have spoke wheels. There is a swingarm and a spoke 18 in rear wheel in the parts. It does run hard at full throttle, but crappy at an idle due to the 2 into 1 with no baffles. The stock exhaust including some mufflers are in the parts. I ordered a set of sprockets and a chain so I have till next Friday to get the stock swingarm and exhaust back on it. I might look into making a connector for two pipes to one so I could use a modern can. There are about three or four seats in various states of repair, the nicest of which isn't on the bike at all.

i love finding a moderate challenge at a good price, grats on the deal. the body still looks to be mostly there and mostly unmarred, so should be a good lookin' bike with a bit of elbow grease.

There we go. Different seat and a bath and she's starting to look better.

It does look better. I'm sure those bags might once have been red and not pink.

Is that a parallel twin?
