I am a 48 yr old married male. 2 grown children.
I finally have a bike again !!!:)
I just purchased a 1983 Yamaha Venture Royal 1200.
It needs work and therefore I am in need of a service manual for this bike.
I believe the sliders in the carb are worn out and need to be replaced.
Can someone please direct me in the right direction to get this required information?
Thanks, Grant

Welcome to TMW!

You should be able to find a manual for your bike here: http://www.repairmanual.com/motorcycles/1983/69/0/3200

Welcome to the site and happy bike day to you. You said again, so I'm curious about your riding history. Also, we usually demand pictures but were mercilessly ridiculed last time we did so I'll try a more polite (politer?) approach:

Got any pics you want to post? Would love to see them!
