I seriously can't wait to go riding with you guys again. I've been practising fast starts at lights, it's starting to annoy the cars around me, because they'll come blasting past me at 30 over the limit 30 or 40 seconds after the light changes.

It's funny how they all do this. They think that passing you in a 35 going 70 means their fast. Just means their stupid enough to get pulled over there lol. I ride the same way as Buzz and his friend, when I ride with one of my good friends. We both put about 15,000-20,000 miles a year, so we both know that each of us knows how to ride. We'll ride real close, and pretty fast. He did run into my exhaust once though lol. A nice scratch from his fairing on it.

Sev, The other day Chris took me to a nicely paved back road I'd only seen once before. Evidently he's been scooting out there after work in the early morning. If you can picture me trying to stay in sight of him on my 26 year-old UJM, down 20 HP from his 18 year-old CBR, on a hilly, winding, unmarked blacktop road...Well, let's just say I can sympathize. I can hold my own when I know where I am, though! He asked me later about one 35 mph curve in particular as I led the way home. His comment was "You didn't slow down ANY!" (from 70 mph)...Practice makes perfect!

I fail to see a problem here.
At least they are aware of you.

Them photo-radar traps really suck for you poor bastids, don't they. Corby pulled some entertaining manuvors the day before when we would come boppin' around some blind spot and he'd recongnize one of thier picture cars. I don't have to worry about them out here so I just followed his lead.... I was never even sure what car we were 'behaving' for.

Near as I can figure, you can be across 2 lanes of traffic, kicked sideways and sliding the rear, in dual formation right in front of these things.... as long as your not speeding when you do it. I hope so anyway, we did it a few times, but I haven't got anything in the mail yet.

I'm on shift til the weekend after next, whatever that is. I don't even know what day of the week it is anymore, it's always friggin' Monday.

So I shouldn't try to keep up with you guys? That makes it a lot easier! Though less exciting.

Actually I had to follow a friend in his mustang today. He kept trying to lose me, but no matter what he did I stuck right with him. There isn't much a car can do that a bike can't

Yeah i had a similar experience today Sev, I went riding backroads and this one road i used to drive alot with my 200sx, where the fastest i could go was 55 (car would start to slide a little) on a bike 55 was no sweat.

In other words Bike > Car

You start getting into nice cars and the car will be better. Watched a video of a race on a track between a R1 and a Porsche 911 GTIII or Turbo, don't remember which. The R1 would dominate on straights, but the Porsche would end up being ahead of it by the time they came out of the corners. But, your comment is true when it comes to most cars.
