Ok, Blues2cruise, now that i've been here awhile, I just must know about this "Canadian World Domination" thing!?

I love Canada and have many great memories of/from Canada, but c'mon, what are you up to? Should us 'Merican's be concerned?

Well, zed...the plan is slowly coming together. The USA money has been slow to change, but it is starting to become aligned with ours.

For example....
The Canadian Dollar. It's been like this for a long time now.


The USA dollar coin....similar...has been slow to adapt...
came out in 2006. They planned a series of rotating president heads. Sounds like a scene from the Excorcist.


For a very long time US paper money has been green and white while ours has always been colourful.

i've never seem paper money like that...and i live here. The Canadian $$$ on the other hand...I have a stack of loonies, a stack of toonies, and $25 in my wallet...heck, I generally have more Canadian money on me at any given time than I do American.

I have a toonie...... found it in the bottom of my tankbag, left over from last summer.

I'm keeping it in a lead-lined box at the moment..... y'know, so it doesn't transmit our secrets back to the "Motherland" (aka land of the eternally disgruntled beaver)

well, lets just say it was 43F here this morning when I left for work at 730, and I thin it only got to about 70 or so. Over the last month, we've had a nice cool streak with a whole week in the 60's...In July...that's a problem

The downside is when we start pumping our winter down to SoCal and Florida and stealing all the heat back here for ourselves......

I think the only place colder than ND in the US is parts of Alaska. As a state I don't think there is one that as cold from border to border as ND. I read somewhere that the economy of cities such as Fargo and Grand Forks, 10%+ of that economy comes from our brothers and sisters to the north. I therefore have decided that ND will become a Statute Province and will be governed by both the US and Canada. We are the official go-between.
