Minolta XG-1 with 45mm F/2 prime lens. Its older than I am. I really hope these pictures come out well as it's my first time exploring the world of film. It's my mom's camera, she got it new when she graduated high school in 1980 (she's gonna "procreating" kill me for sharing that one  ) as a grad present. I'm a bit suprised that it still works as well as it does, it's been sitting in storage for probably close to 15 years without use. It just has something about it that my digital cam doesn't. Oh yeah, a real lens  . I'm almost giddy with excitment about getting these two rolls of "cheapo" film developed and see if I can justify spending a bit more money on better film.

Thats not too bad.

You gotta figure. 650 miles at posted speed limits will take around 10 hours.
Figure 7 gas stops at 15 minutes each for an hour 45 mins...11 hrs 45 mins,
3 meals at about an hour each and you are up to 14 hr 45 mins.

That only leaves 2 hrs and 15 mins to stand around rubbing your poor tender bum

That wasn't enough for me after taking a 750 mile trip in TWELVE hours.

And that was stopping for several minutes every 70 miles or so...

Part of my problem was drinking too much coffee at stops. I think between sweating all day and the diuretic is what doomed me in. I stopped at like 3 pm to get gas and got incredibly sick. Ended up sitting outside the gas station like a bum with my gear and boots of drinking water for an hour or so.

I mean I made this trip like two months ago in the opposite direction and it only took 11 hours. Of course that time I pretty much didn't obey the speed limit at any point.

Dehydration will do that to you. A big orange juice is what I drink when I realize I'm in that bad of shape. I can sympathize. It's awful when that happens.

Washed my truck and cleaned out the bed. Trying to get it ready to sell.

Found an '07 SV650 that I really adore. Maybe? Only $3500. 9k miles. Babied. 1 owner. Yes, sir.

Then found out there's a charge on my university account. And that's why my loans haven't paid for classes yet. #$%^@$^%@%$. And they won't until that charge goes away. Amount? $646. Aaaaah.

When does it stop, man?
