congrats greg. that's a nice first bike. thought you were going to wait until the fall. :laughing: definitely get some sliders for that bike. you don't want to drop it without them.

too bad we don't have good weather this week.

the exhaust is the one thing i don't like about those, actually. i'd have to do some serious searching for aftermarket stuff and look at the cost involved in routing it further up underneath the tail before i kept the stock exhaust, but knowing the cheapskate that i am i'm sure i'd keep it stock in the end.

and yes, that is a very nice lookin' bike. is the silver a stock color or was it repainted? i know they don't offer silver for the 09 or 10 models, but it does look really sharp and i might just have to look for one of those when i do some more bike shopping.

The bike is STOCK. :) I don't plan on touching anything unless I have to.

then i'll definitely be on the lookout for an 06 when i get my funding flow back where i want it and am in the market for a commuting bike. that bike is absolutely awesome looking.
