so i finally fired up that bike i talked about earlier and i came across a problem. when givin a twist of the throttle the RPM's raise but dont drop, they hover at the # theyre at for a while and then slowly descend.
i dont wanna take it out on the street because i feel like this could be an issue.

It sounds like you have an air leak in your intake tract. What year,make,and model bike do you have?

First off make sure the cable isn't hanging up. When you let go the slide should drop. If the cable looks ok you need to get it running and then spray carb cleaner around the intake. If the rpms raise there is a leak.
