They are miniatures, not standards. Of course they're all standing up as tall as possible, leaning on the pen. They would do that whenever someone came in to the room - they always wanted to be picked up. If you look closely, there's also a white toy poodle pup at the far left, sitting down. He's about a month younger than the black ones, and of course also a toy, not a miniature.

Got a TTR-230 into the shop today. Ya know, the budget electric start dirtbike that Yamaha makes? It's designed for putting around and having a little fun on the trails.
It has been in the shop earlier this week for fork seals (it's an 09). I replaced them. Dude came back in today and they were blown again. He started blaming me! So I asked him what kind of stuff he was doing. He's about 160 lbs without gear, doing 15, 20 foot jumps, keeping up with his buddy's KTM 250. :frusty: :frusty: :frusty:
I had to explain the difference in suspension/motor between the 4K TTR-230 and the 7K KTM.
Bets on when he'll be back again?

Got to borrow the shop truck and a quad this weekend to go exploring around the high country my Camry won't go to! That's gonna be fun tomorrow and Monday.

Nice ain't it? I had a sportsman 700 for the whole time I worked at the Polaris shop. Was the shop 4 wheeler, that fortunately no one else needed for a good year. So I always had it.

I miss that big asz behemoth.

Dropped my bike off at the wrench monkey's shop and drooled over a 74 Triumph Trident that was on the dyno.......sweet, the old guy who owns it is taking down to Bonnieville to make a stab at the PPP (Production, Pushrod, Petrol) record.
Always ask why.

I tore the rear suspension apart on my 83 650 Silverwing, cleaned and molyed all the bushings. My wife and I went for a 100 km ride and it is just great, rides like a new bike. She had a little trouble keeping up at one point when I started to pull 8500 rpm shifts, but I couldn't resist.

Did mine last night bud, I feel your pain!

Oh and forgot, yesterday got to ride an 02 Trident 900. Surprisingly comfortable when you sat on it, and surprisingly fast when you punched it. Plus the guy that owns it is considering selling it... hmmmmm

No riding for me either. A thunderstorm parked in the area as soon as I pulled my last load out of the dryer.
