Hi folks. I have a '97 Honda Magna. What should be the length of time or miles between oil changes?

If you don't have a manual with the interval listed, you can call a Honda shop and ask them.

I would go with changing every 3000 km, but I change more than really necessary, 5000 km is not out of line.

I find with most bikes I've owned, when the shifting gets notchy, an oil change is due.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

I have one of those sight glasses. You can tell when to change it. Most of the time it's around 3000 miles. Some times sooner.
People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Depends on type of riding. If you do city riding (short trips) I recommend three to six months MAXIMUM time interval, or about 2000 miles (whichever comes first).

Highway mileage: if you use dino oil I personally would never run it past 3k. Synthetic go to the full factory limit.
