Are you into cars as well?

Just wondering if motorcycle enthusiasts are more likely to be car geeks as well, or are you pretty much indifferent when it comes to cages?

Eh, kinda. A good car costs a lot more then a good motorbike.

Ehat I would consider a comparable car to my harley would probably be 20k or more. That's new anyway.

But I like them especially Old Muscle cars, just can't afford them.

I love cars as well. It was my career at an automotive repair facility that got me into motorcycles. So I am thankful for that.

On the otherhand I would buy a BMW motorcycle before one of their cars.

No. Cars are transportation. Nothing fun about them. IMHO, of course.

I can be in to cars, but they have to be exceptional at something. I was driving a twin turbo 3000gt for a bit last semester. It was fun, but never as much as a bike. I am however getting really into VW's various TDI vehicles.

Motorcycles are my second automotive love. Cars are the first. There, I said it. I am a firm believer that you can have just as much fun, in more relative comfort, in the right car, as you you can on a motorcycle.

I just dig vehicles..... of most any kind.

Bikes are indeed the most fun to my mind, but cars and trucks have their place just as well to me.

Pounding down a superslab is (no offense to anyone...) about the biggest waste of a bike I can think of (for me). If I have to make many miles down a typical hiway, I would rather do it in my cage, with the music cranked, a drink at hand, a smoke going, and the cruise set.

If I'm on a bike, a different part of my brain seems to be in command, and that part generally says.... Give 'er Sheet, Boy!.... loudly and repeatedly.
No Witnesses.... :shifty:

If I've gotta do long miles down straight roads I've gotta give it to the cars. Cruise control is awesome. Otherwise I tend to find myself testing out the upper end of the speedometer range.
Twisty roads, I've gotta give it to the bike unless I'm in a very good handling car. Short trips is always bike unless it's raining hard or snowing. Bikes just don't handle well in the snow!

One of my favorite trips across country was in my ol 3000gt, for all the same reasons you just listed. Minus the drink, that car didn't have cupholders.
