China has strict rules on motorcycles and generally nobody wears safety gear....maybe a helmet if their paranoid...so it's not like a tailor would have understood the concept of a "protection" motorcycle jacket.

I think I'll buy an EXR Mesh jacket that's on sale for 135 here in Korea too.

I also got a black, chinese army airfore helmet for motorcycling...sure to "pee" off the korean cops!
What are the chances the Joe Rocket was real and not a counterfeit?

Out of all the types of jackets to fake, this type would be pretty hard and they'd likely fake a more reputable brand.....I had the guys at the hostel test it by beating me me silly with the jacket...held up very well. Pretty thick leather too.

The ultra thin Harley Davidson jackets were certainly fake

I've actually found the quality of fakes to be quite decent actually....my fake oakley hiking bag I bought here for 30 bucks has held nearly 30+ pounds of stuff for hours and did plenty of hiking on chinese mountains.

I haven't been to China but since about 95% of the counterfeit and pirated stuff on the Internet is from Chinese-hosted sites, I wouldn't trust anything from there to be real.

Watch the jacket say "Joe Rocker" now that'll be something.

Why stop with the helmet, should've went for the whole chinese army outfit.
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.
