Is this for real? Why would anyone need more HP on those already over powered machines?
(except for on a track maybe...but certainly not for street use)

I dunno...if the guy who was accelerating on the bridge a few days ago had any more HP, he'd have been off the bridge and into the river.
I kid you not....I checked my mirror...nothing coming in the lane, I signalled.......I looked over my shoulder, still nothing in the lane...then I checked my mirror again just as I was about to move over.....

(OK, rhetorical question.....)

It's the Tuner culture. Gotta be fast n' furious nowadays.
It was sad that I kept up with a R6 on my Vulcan 500 when we both went full rev down a stretch of road. Turns out my redline is 9500 RPM or more. Ran out of steam though at 5th gear at quite a high speed (think 2 zeroes)... 6th gear is now an overdrive gear for me after changing the gearing.

One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

It's just something that some people have to do to be happy. I'm kind of one of those people. With my computer, I'm always trying to push the hardware just a bit further, not because I have to or even because it's useful, but just because I can. It was the same way for my cars. I don't mess with the shadow however, it's perfect how it is.
