Hello to All Honda Lovers!
Need help with size of fork seals for my wife's 'new-to-us' VT500C. Anyone know? Is 37 x 50 x 11 correct? I've seen several different sizes on a popular E-auction site - so I wonder what's right? Never replaced fork seals before so I don't know tolerances. Also, the bike is so 'new-to-us' that I don't have a repair manual yet - any suggestions for whether Clymer is good enough or should I just get the Honda service from Helms? Without the manual I don't know what size seals should be. Would like to order the seals while waiting for the manual to arrive. Thanks. Also, I need to get a new rear tire - would like to hear suggestions (list of pros and cons). I'm looking for good wet-traction. Thanks much.
