I usually only wear a face cover when I'm shovelling during that Jan-Feb period when it gets to superlow...that point when the F temp is colder than the C temp...somewhere around -40F - -45F. Seems like every once in a while we get a cold boost to around -60F at night...but usually only about once a winter (oh yeah, that's -60F air temp, not wind chill...every day on the plain is -60F windchill).

How about Thursday September 24?

Are you interested in a season ender ride?

where?

Whistler and back?
Manning park for lunch at the lodge and back?
Sunshine Coast?

I have another friend whose day off is also Thursday and would be interested in going.

Who else is off on Thursdays?????

If I can get back from the ride early enough I would love to join the group... I guess it also depends on your departure time...

Have to get some sleep before work when I do get back.

How about we go to Whistler? Whichever way we choose will have a rush hour component to deal with coming home.

We can meet at the Chevron at 1st and Rupert and leave promptly at ten am. with a full tank of fuel.

We can stop for coffee in Brittannia and then carry on to Whistler for lunch.

We can stop in Squamish on the way back to refuel (unless we decide we need to refuel before leaving Whistler...depends on your gas tank)

We can then make a choice to cross over the Lion's Gate or the Ironworkers....

Postponed if raining.

I just got informed at work today, that I have to go to a training class on the morning of the 24th.

How to pick up heavy parcels!!!

For pete's sake, I don't do that kind of work...
