Ah well that sucks too, but not as bad as bikeless and unknown when to find a replacement.

I think I have a few more rides left. Depends on how much I want to freeze my "O Ring" off.

well now I am done riding. State farm dropped me because I had a comprehensive claim 11.5 months before my wife laid the bike down. so because there were 2 claims on a bike they dropped the insurance.... The better friggen give me at least $100 of the $150 I paid for this insurance back.

I hate insurance companies.

What happened to you sucks, but in NJ, they have legal practices (for car insurance) where insurance companies can drop you because you are not profitable. For example, you have been with them for 10 years, no accidents and your insurance rate is $100 - which pays for the existence of your account and that's just about it. They can drop you and you are forced to go with another company and then - whammo, first year coverage - no previous years with this company and your insurance is $1500...

Riders seems to be pretty good, but I've never had a claim or anything like that. So, far, I'm just paying money for a piece of paper. :)

I hope I keep it that way.

There are plenty of other insurance companies that would love to take your money...
I don't get why you are letting an insurance company dictate to you wether you continue riding or not.

you, sir, have obviously not been reading this thread.

1. Its end of October...
2. Its been raining for like 2 weeks now.
3. All the leaves are falling and as thus wet leaves on wet road = not a very good surface to ride on.
4. Its been in the 40's the last couple weeks. not what I consider "fun".

So I was going to start getting quotes but I think I am going to wait until April after my cruise to look. Since thats when I will be getting the bike back out to ride again. Talking with state farm my insurance continues with them until the 22nd of november so at least I can still take it out if it ever warms up (way this summer went I doubt it will ever happen) but I do need to take it out so I can fill the tank up before i put it away lol.
