Why are motorcycle cops so intimidating?

I'm riding my bike to work the other day and I check my mirrors for vehicles and see nothing. About 10 seconds later I look again and there is a motorcycle cop behind me. My first reaction is oh great I'm going about 5 over the limit and it's the end of the month, time to fill that quota.
So I stop at the light and he pulls up next to me, and we chat for a little bit before he speeds off.
Even when I'm in my cage if a moto cop is behind me I will turn down the radio and put both hands back on the wheel. I don't know what it is but they just intimidate the Hades out of me. I wonder if I bought a black jumpsuit and a white helmet if people would get out of my way thinking I was a cop?

That's what cops are, intimidating by nature. I think we always assume they are going to be in a bad mood and nail us for even a small infraction. Most of the time they are just good guys I have found.

When I had my Vulcan with the windshield on along with saddlebags people said my bike looked like a cop bike. There was a point where I actually wore a black jacket with a white open faced helmet with Rayban Aviators and people said I looked like a cop.

When the weather was nice and warm and I rode into the city I would meet some motor cops during the ride, sometimes we would lane split together (in bad traffic) or end up in a small staggered formation. Many of them are cool and all but I still wouldn't ride with them everywhere. It is handy though when they park and I pull into whatever space is available or weird when I park and I see 2 police bikes, one on each side of me when I come out.
One thing you can count on: You push a man too far, and sooner or later he'll start pushing back.

Lol it was a lady doing about 45 in a 25... When she saw me her eyes got about the size of dinner plates. She pulled over, I didn't realize why until about ten seconds after I passed her... So she got off with a warning lol

They is Ugglly. ok ok just kiddin' ... I don't find cops intimidating.. unless I'm seriously over the speed limit or drunk. Most (99.9%) are good people; they got a job to do and they will getcha.

People say I'm stupid and apathetic. I don't know what that means, and I don't care.

Johnj .. I like that video. To bad it didn't all play out. I liked where the string of bikes circle in and the inside u-turns and then threds back to the outside. They look like a marching band. The streets we ride on are made for cars. What if the streets we ride on were made for bikes and not cars??? What if we only had four feet to to ride in. I would be doing alot of practicing... for sure.. for sure. (I might need a dictionary too)
