I just finished teaching my last class of the season!

Plenty of stuff left: my secret project will come to fruition in just over a week and I have Advanced Rider Training from Team Oregon the weekend after that.

The bikes have lots of stuff to keep me occupied: chain and sprockets on the 599 again, new rear tire as well. Gotta replace the clutch basket, my repair is getting noticeably worse as miles rack up. Carbs haven't been in sync for a while now.

The front forks still need some slight adjustment after their Racetech upgrades: I'm one or two mm shy of a good static sag for the street.

The Scrambler is going to need a new front tire soon. It may not be a bad idea to stock up on some wear parts such as chain and sprockets when I'm at it. Triumph parts aren't quick to acquire over here.

30 second update: bought that '06 Triumph Scrambler.

Had a sidecar put on it.

Crashed said sidecar outfit, totaling the Scrambler, saved the sidecar, bumps and bruises for the wife and me.

Went to buy a '99 Honda Nighthawk 750. Guy was asking $2,500, I offered $2,000 and he accepted. Then produced a title that he said was "clean" on the phone, which really meant REBUILT/SALVAGE. I thanked him for his time and left without the bike.

Good thing, too, as it needed:

front brake work
new fork seals
new tires
fix drop damage
fix dented/scratched fuel tank
replace tachometer assembly
remove halfway broken windshield

It was a $1500 bike, $1000 bike with that salvage title.

I wish I knew how to quit you, Triumph.

2006 Tornado Red Scrambler with 8,000 miles has been replaced by an '08 Scrambler, Roulette Green, with less than 350 miles on it after riding it home.

The green looks far better in person than photos, especially official Triumph photos.

Yep!

The sidecar frame has been straightened by a local machine shop and I'm waiting on a quote on parts for the mounts and other bits.

There was a Toy Run down in Clarkston, WA today. Nothing brings holiday cheer like illegally blocking main roads, revving up your illegally-loud engine and almost running into folks all while not wearing helmets in Washington!
