Disc Locks

I live in Pittsboro, NC, and use my Suzuki GR650X Tempter to commute between home and college. The problem is, my college is located in eastern Durham, which isn't exactly the safest or most secure.

What I need is a disc lock. I bought an OnGuard 5.5mm lock at a dealership, but the peg proved just barely too big to use. I could force it through the hole in the brake disc, but the button wouldn't go in all the way and click shut. My guess is I need a 5mm lock. Any suggestions?

There don't appear to be any disk locks, made by them, in 5mm.

I'm not looking for a specific brand, just something to keep my bike from growing legs and walking off.

I did a Google search for "disk lock" and found a couple.

Given that any determined thief can simply lift a disc-locked bike into a van and drive off with it, I tend to feel that they're more a danger to me (for forgetting to take it off) than a true theft deterrent.

From your sig line, it appears you've got a 20 year old motorcycle. Not exactly a hot item on anybody's wish list. If you park next to a Gixxer, etc. your bike won't even get a second glance.
